Canyon de Chelly is located at North east of Arizona , abt 5 hrs drive from Phoenix .

Went to Canyon De Chelly from Painted desert .It is about 2 hrs drive from there and it's worth the drive. 
Canyon de Chelly also sustains a living community of Navajo people, who are connected to a landscape of great historical and spiritual significance. Canyon de Chelly is unique among National Park service units, as it is comprised entirely of Navajo Tribal Trust Land that remains home to the canyon community .
Spider Rock . According to traditional Navajo beliefs the taller of the two spires is the home of spider woman
Wigwam motel at Holbrook. Inspiration for the Cars movie and Oprah been here too during her road trip in 2008 .Very interesting to see all the old cars is parked around the area.
Big Lake is situated at 9,000 feet (2,700 m) in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests.
Started to rain after 5 mins we got in the boat
Nice scallop dinner after the whole day went boating at the Big lake.
