Saw the quail at our backyard for the first time on 5/08 and this morning all I see is her feather all over the nesting area.Don't want to think of the worst thing could happen to this mother quail, so I waited till abt 4 pm today but still no sight of the bird, so it's confirm that it could be eaten by something, other bird, rats or the worst is snake, probably a snake, I don't see any blood around it jsut feathers all over :-( .Scary too to think of it .So Daddy bring the eggs in and try to incubate them , see if it works or it will die on it's own anyway .15 egss.
